   We made a reservation for our family over the Thanksgiving weekend. The restaurant was crowded but every table was not full. It took quite some time for our server to come to our table after arriving . Once they came to our table, we ordered a couple of small plates, 2 alcoholic beverages, and 4 large plates for our party of five. The appetizer arrived within a reasonable amount of time: however, our drinks had not arrived. We had to ask about our drinks, and then they finally delivered them. We ate our small plates which were very good, but after they cleared away our dishes, it took so long to get our large plates that we had to ask how much longer it would be before our main courses would arrive. The server told us that there was a large table outside and said the kitchen was backed up. We were told the food would be out in five minutes: however, the food arrived ten minutes later. The frustration lies in the fact that we should have been notified that there would be a longer than normal wait for our food, the server or manager should have comped us for a small plate, and they should have checked in on us to see if anyone needed a 2nd drink or anything while we waited. The saving grace and reason for three stars instead of two was the food which was very very tasty. Unfortunately, we will not be returning after this experience. This is very disappointing given the positive reviews I had read online.

   The cocktails were tasty but nothing too special and not very strong. The dumpling special was great. The tuna appetizer tasted a little fishy and not very fresh. The yellow curry noodles were AMAZING. The short rib was good but not our favorite. Overall everything was pretty good and the restaurant was cool!

   Gluten free items are amazing! For that matter, everything was amazing - the setting, the service, the sake, the small and large plates! Honestly, even the price was very fair especially for the quality. For the gluten free readers, the chicken wings were a bit hit as was the flank steak.

   The server was fantastic and provided great detail on the menu items and made sure that anyone with food allergies knew what not to order. The food was delicious and came out quickly.

   The short rib was delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly but needed more seasoning on the meat. The sides were perfectly seasoned and the cassava was delicious. All in all a great experience. It was our first time and our anniversary dinner. The patio is chill and covered. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The caipirinhas were delicious!

    Tremendous service from waiter/bartender Q. All the food was top notch. Wish there were a few more green vegetable menu options/ingredients, otherwise really delightful experience.
