Seit 1887 gibt es am Kreuzkirchhof nun schon durchgängig ein Restaurant Kreuzklappe – damit gehört diese Gastronomie-Institution zu den ältesten Gasthäusern in Hannover! Natürlich haben über das letzte Jahrhundert hinweg die Besitzer und Konzepte gewechselt, aber das denkmalgeschützte Gebäude steht seit jeher für kulinarischen Genuss. Heute werden in dem historischen Haus türkische Spezialitäten serviert – und das schon seit 1972. In dem wohl ältesten türkischen Restaurant der Stadt werden am Kreuzkirchhof in Hannover-Mitte hinter Backsteinmauern gegrillte Lammkeule, gefüllte Weinblätter, mit Schafskäse gefüllter Blätterteig und andere türkische Spezialitäten aufgetischt.
