Nice spot for date night. My wife & I celebrated our anniversary and definitely enjoyed the experience. We felt welcomed from the time we entered until we departed. The whole vibe was right!

When I got there the valet was across the street in a parking lot (valet should be at the door) Then when I walk in the host is just so rude he doesn’t even greet you! I get seated finally. The waitress doesn’t come by for at least 10 min! I waited on my drink for 30 minutes I waited on my food for a hour and still never received it So I closed out for my drinks Was never apologetic towards the wait Her response was just that the kitchen was backed up! No ma’am that is not acceptable The salad I ordered should have came out 45 min ago along with our appetizer! I will not be going back

Worst experience at a “fine dining” restaurant ever! Took 15 minutes for someone to come to our order. When they finally came we were informed that of the only 4 main menu dishes and 5 side dish choices, many items were sold out! We finally got our drinks 30 minutes after ordering. Every single food item we ordered was taken to 1-2 wrong tables before it was brought to us COLD. They went back and forth talking over our food as they tried to figure out which table to bring it to. It just wasn’t a great experience at all. I wanted to do something different for my bf bday since we frequent all the other fine dining restaurants in the city and this reminded me why we always stick to what we know. Did I mention that the coasters were thin paper and the booths had holes in them from the hookah I’m assuming. Then the bill came and had over 20% in taxes, mind you the tax rate in Texas is 8.25%. Then it also had an entertainment fee which was weird seeing that we booked there on a Saturday day night anticipating entertainment yet NONE was provided. So just prepare for an additional 37.5% to be added onto whatever you are ordering when you receive your final bill!

Service was very poor. It was one server for 10 tables. He tried his best but he was just overworked. The food was pricey for the portion sizes and taste. The ambience is great but overall the experience lacked in the most important categories.

I wouldn’t recommend 0/10. I made the reservation got there on time & they had no table for me. About 30 minutes later they sat me after we scurried around the restaurant for some time. Once seated we waited for 15-20 minutes for someone to take the drink order. After we put our drink order in the drinks took another 30 minutes to come and honestly by that time we were just ready to go ANY where else. Won’t be back, I actually hated it.

This was my 2nd time at KOYA. We were celebrating our friends 10 year anniversary. We spent 500.00 at KOYA and that was with the nice lady giving us a discount due to poor quality and lack of food that we ordered. It wasn’t about the discount but everything we ordered they were out of it. They opened for the night but didn’t have many options as far as food.… they have a small menu as it is but several things they were out of… no asparagus, no oysters, no lobster tacos, no sea bass. The food is overpriced but was willing to pay. My husband and his friend ordered the jerk lamb chops medium… due to us already being irritated they didn’t complain and they ate the well done lamb chops. By the way they were not jerk they were just cooked lamb chops. Drinks were good. I sent my salad back with grill chicken I settled for that due to them being out of the sea bass and oysters… mind you for a Caesar salad with overcook charred chicken would run me 30.00 I sent the salad back once it arrived and realized the chicken was brunt… in other words I didn’t eat I just ordered drinks. They charged gratuity 20% which was no problem the server tried the best she could to accommodate even bringing a complimentary cake for my friends anniversary and shots for the 4 of us.. All I will say is do better.!!! I would come back for drinks but eat before you get there… they pretty much had no food and they are well overpriced… I can’t see this business lasting too long without making the necessary changes... Several tables informed us that they just settled for what was left on the menu.:. steak -72 and lamb chops-58…wings-18…and Mac and cheese… pass on the Mac and cheese it’s not worth the price…
