Great choice for a birthday brunch! My only complaint is the 20% gratuity that is added to all checks even if you split a part of the bill. I also wanted blackened fish and was given fried. Either way still a great choice for a fancy dinner.

You can definitely tell the energy in the building was off or different from the first time we came. This was our second time coming here and our server seemed like she had an attitude or just simply didn’t wanna be there this morning. The energy given was definitely not expected, we requested a particular server due to the amazing experience we had with him our first time but I’m gonna assume he wasn’t serving in the areas where we had to sit. The oxtails are definitely disgusting, the sauce recipe was not appealing but the manager was able to change my order to something else that I was grateful for.

We had 9pm reservations, but weren’t seated until around 10:15pm. We decided to hit the bar in the meantime. When we arrived, a couple was getting up so we grab those seats. The 2 bartenders didn’t say a word to us. The male bartender even slowly cleaned the previous couples plates and still didn’t say a word or even make eye contact. I then asked a passing person (who I thought was also a bartender but was actually a barback) if the bar was closed or if we could order drinks still since no one bothered offering us service. He grabbed the female bartender and she ended up providing us bar service. This is UNACCEPTABLE at a place that automatically adds in 20% gratuity!! A margharita and Tito’s w/ pineapple= $57! Once we were finally seated, the waiter (Hailey) comes over and is quite pleasant. Service from that point on was great. Only issue from there was the lobster bites. They were insufferably salty! The crabcakes and trinity rolls were delicious.

First visit and I’m sure it will be my last. Waited over 30 mins for our table and we had reservations. The table we were assigned was right in front of the entrance and there were about 15-20 ppl standing in that area waiting to be seated. We refused that table because who wants to eat with 20+ people in your face so we had to wait again just to be seated by the DJ booth. There were so many people standing everywhere waiting. The food was subpar, especially at the costs. I was unhappy with the mandatory 20% gratuity for all parties, regardless of size, especially when the service wasn’t that great. The food was just ok. My fried salmon and grits wasn’t anything to rave about and tasted bland and flat. The other guest in my party wasn’t pleased with the kajun pasta she ordered. The egg rolls were pretty good however. I overheard the party seated behind us state they weren’t pleased with their selections. Still trying to figure out how the Jackson Five and Dale Earnhardt art on the walls tied into the theme. At $169 for one alcoholic beverage, one appetizer and two entrees, I definitely could have gotten a better experience and a more satisfying meal elsewhere. Spend your time and money elsewhere…don’t recommend

I had to stand in the cold for 30 minutes even though I had reservations. Service was poor and food was decent

Even when you book a reservation they don’t seat you for like another 30 minutes which is quite annoying. Food was good, drinks were good; service was superb. Quite pricey though.

I shared a meal with a few friends and we enjoyed everything that was placed before us. The drinks, appetizer and our entrees were splendid. To dine at a restaurant with no seasoning on the table is unheard of and none was required!!! Our food was seasoned to our liking. To the owner WELL DONE and a kiss and hats off to the chef and staff.

Way overpriced for what it is this is -not New York City. Don’t charge NYC prices in Charlotte for a cocktail
