Kintan is the first authentic Japanese style yakiniku in London. Yakiniku is a Japanese term that literally translates to “grilled meat.” It has a long-standing history and a strong presence in Japanese cuisine. The restaurant was okay, the food was lovely and the service was great. However, I went there on my own to treat myself with the all you can eat, but it wasn't available. The waiter told me apologetic that it should, so I ordered from the menu. Surprise, surprise... I couple sat next to me with the all you can eat menu. I flagged it to the waiter, as I was confused and then the excuse changed to "there is not enough time, the hostess shouldn't being give it". Clearly a lie, as technically you have 1 hour 45 minutes, I was sat at 7:30 and they close at 10pm. I would not complain if it had been stated somewhere (like the happy hour no available as it was 1st of January), but it wasn't, or they haven't lied to me multiple times. I don't blame the waiter as I imagine he was just doing his job, but I won't come back any time soon.
