   Food and service were great. The decor, while very attractive, does not deaden the sound much. As long as you are not looking for a very quiet dining experience, Kingfisher is a great value.

   Absolutely fantastic! We loved everything we ordered! The standouts were the crab fingers appetizer; the pontchartrain; the brownie sundae with pralines.

   Wanted to try breaded version of the drum fish filet. It only came with additional item toppings (crawfish tails and mushrooms) for more money and I removed them from my order. Fish was good except for a herb in the breading I didn’t like. The roasted cauliflower was maybe room temperature and the melted cheese was very hard and dried out. I was hoping for better for the price!

   Definitely recommend to others. Food was great. Had Seafood lasagna and wife had crawfish etouffee paired wit crawfish tails. Hush puppies are to die for. Pillowy light and airy but with a crunch. Excellent.

   The front of house needs an adult to manage it. The teenagers were easily confused by any issue that arose with other guests. Drinks were good; the mozzarella appetizer was amazing. Pork chop main dish was great. The ribeye was just a super cheap cut of meat with very little seasoning. Avoid it. It’s odd that the restaurant does not get decent cuts of meat as people in that area would pay for the added cost.

    I found the menus limited. Catfish was considered seafood which I do not. The drum (redfish, black drum?) was well prepared and very good. The mashed potatoes were thin and not flavorful. The salad was very good with the blue cheese dressing being the star. I found it interesting that water served was room temperature, no ice. I had to ask. I heard several people say how good their experience was, maybe I set the bar too high. Compared to other restaurants in the area, I would give food and service an average rating. The decor and lighting were impressive. Beautiful burl suspended in one dining room was breathtaking. I will return at some point…. Hoping for a better experience.
