   We left it up to our server to determine what/how much to feed a group of 6 with no dietary restrictions. Best decision we could have made! Every bite was excellent, and it was just the right amount of food.

   I’m fortunate enough to live down the street from this place, but I would travel a far to visit as frequently as I do now. The service is incredibly genuine and does an intentional job of educating people about Cambodian culture cuisine. The flavors are out of this world and delicious for all diet types. Cocktails are five stars. Thanks for everything, y’all are doing great.

   We tried the tasting menu last night and it was a great walk through Siem Riep indeed! Each course was bursting with flavors and uniqueness to the texture and constitency. Thanks chef for creating a unique flavor for tasting menu to showcase the flavor of Siem Riep! Each course has a good portion as well so in all the 6 courses we had, me and my friend was satiated and thoroughly satisfied! Definitely recommend!

   We went to Khmai for our anniversary dinner and ordered specialty cocktails and the tasting menu. It did not disappoint! The savory coconut cocktail was my personal favorite, and on our tasting menu the standouts were a mango/papaya salad with smoked tilapia and a salmon/crab disk with amok sauce. The dining room had really beautiful floral arrangements and the service was impeccable! So happy to have Khmai in our neighborhood!

   We went to Khmai for an anniversary dinner and had a truly wonderful experience. We did the tasting menu with wine pairing - everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. Our waitress (Eve?) was outstanding. It was a truly wonderful experience. Thanks Chef Mona!

   Khmai has good food (especially if you like Southeast Asian flavors) and provides a great ambiance. There are two sides to the restaurant. We ate at the more casual dining area, which was great, and had more street food. The waiter provided great recommendations on what we should order, and we chose many of his recommendations. The appetizers and main courses tasted great; however, the dessert left a little to be desired. I ordered the pandan cake; however, they did not have the coconut ice cream that would be paired with it. The cake was a bit dry, so it could have benefitted from this additional cream. Additionally, it tasted similar to a Red Ribbon ube cake even though it was pandan. My overall rating would have been five stars; however, it did take a long time to get served by the waiter and also my group had to request the check multiple times.

   I have been wanting to try this place for the last 2 years . In the past I was not able to secure a reservation. This time we were able to get in on a Saturday night at 5:30. This restaurant has two sides with two entrances and two different menus / reservation sites . We dined on the fine dining side ( as opposed to the bar/street food side ). Service was excellent: servers were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable. Full bar with beer and wine offered . They had a tasting menu which looked excellent, but we chose to order a la carte. We had egg roll appetizers ( it was chicken , not pork and was fantastic) . They also provided bread with garlic/spiced butter. We had green curry tofu and oxtail with bone marrow. Both were delicious and flavorful . The oxtail was very rich. Highly recommend this place.

    The meal and the service felt uneven- there were dishes that were sold out, which was a massive disappointment. And the service was heavy handed- I’d try the restaurant out again, but would perhaps try the street food menu vs. the dine dining option.
