   The food and service were both exceptional. We really enjoyed interacting with the chefs and having the different dishes explained to us as they were served. The cocktail menu was also fantastic. The Hibiscus Haze was my favorite. We will definitely be back!

   This was our second time coming to Kenji for the Omakase experience. The first experience was fantastic which is why we went back and this time we brought a friend from out of town to try it. We didn’t find the quality of the seafood near as good as good as our first time. One in our party got a hard piece of Cartledge in his bite and another person next to us spit out a piece of fish because it was chewy. There were a few bites including toro which I normally Iove that were a bit fishy tasting which means may not have been fresh while there were others that were really fabulous such as seabream. But for the price we paid I would expect consistency in quality and freshness and I am sad that our second experience was such a disappointment compared to our first. Especially since we brought a friend and raved about it the first time. Needless to say we will not be returning.

   This was a top shelf dining experience. The team of Kenji (Malachi, Gabe, Jade, Matt and others) were so very helpful, attentive to the perfect degree, and made us feel VERY special. It was a true VIP experience.

   The omakase experience was absolutely amazing. After having other omakase experiences in Las Vegas and SF, I had high expectations. Kenji went above and beyond. The staff was attentive, and the sushi chefs, Tu and Vu, were very personable, welcoming and knowledgeable. The cocktails were great, but the highlight was the food and having a front row seat watching the artistry of sushi making happen. And the personalized menus were a lovely touch. I normally don't leave reviews, but this place was extraordinary Definitely recommended.

   The fish was extraordinarily fresh and truly amazing. The service was extremely friendly, attentive, and a lot of fun. The chef shared his passions for his craft and explained the fine details of all the ingredients, their treatment, and the combination of flavors. We will definitely be back next time we’re in New Orleans!

    Unfortunately this wasn’t a great experience. The courses left more to be desired. We ended up leaving hungry which has never been the case for me after an omakase experience. I had seen the good reviews and thought it would be a nice luxury dinner but I didn’t receive that. I will be going back to Yo Nashi in the future when I want a luxury omakase experience.
