   Second lunch there in as many months. Prix Fixe menu offers great choices and food is always fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly and attentive and the decor is clean and elegant without being fussy. Highly recommend!!

   Our group enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service at this restaurant. I give extra points to the staff, who were very attentive at the door, at the table, and at the bar as we ordered takeout for our colleagues who could not make the lunch meeting. Thank you!

   If you are in NYC and want to experience true Greek hospitality, excellent food and attentive caring service this restaurant is an absolute must. The owner Stavros Aktipis has done an outstanding job in bringing you a touch of Greek elegance for your evening enjoyment. Gorgios Mitzelos the Manager takes a personal interest in your comfort and dining experience and makes sure the service given by servers such as Philip is genuine and caring. The mantra depicted on their business card states, "Enter as stranger, leave as friend." They accomplished this goal for us and in our view will do the same for you. We can't wait to come back to this exceptional dining experience the next time we visit NYC.

   Based on our experience, I could not recommend this restaurant. The food was good, but we were not treated the way I would expect to be treated at a restaurant in this price range. My wife had the lamb chops, which were great, and I had some fish (that I don't remember, see below) which was good, but just barely hot, meaning it had probably sat for a bit before being served. Our issues were as follows - Menu lists 10 different kinds of fish (one of the reasons we chose the place), only 4 were available, and we were not told that until we ordered. So at the last minute I had to decide what to eat, since my first two choices were not available. Usually if something is on the menu and they don't have it, they inform you when you are seated. We did not order appetizers, and were left sitting at our table for 40 minutes with one piece of bread each. I asked for a second drink, and it never came. The final straw was that the server came and took the dessert order at the table next to us. We were sitting there with absolutely nothing on the table but water after it was cleared. He took their dessert menus and walked away. We tried for 10 minutes to get his attention to order dessert, and nothing. I had trouble getting our check, a process that took another 10 minutes and it took me turning my chair around to face away from the table, which eventually caught the attention of another waiter, and we still had to wait to get the check. We were very much looking forward to this meal, and it as not a good experience. I spoke with the manager as we were leaving, just to let him know. His response was "Sorry, but you should have spoke up sooner, I was here all along." I guess I could have but chose not to do so.

   Excellent food as usual. Much quieter on Saturday rather than when I usually come in on Wednesday always enjoy coming there.
