A landmark experience. A dining and drinking destination. A historic tradition. Since its inception, the Kaufman House has been a gathering place for travelers, neighbors and friends. Today, Kaufman Tavern continues and updates the tradition, providing a warm welcome, restorative libations and a fun, comfortable, exquisite dining experience. The food is the real star here: a top-notch, scratch-made, local, eco-friendly and--most importantly--delicious dining experience. Our menu reflects the best of the US and the bounty of our region.     Fish sandwich was horrible. Brussels are the worst. Not a good dining experience. Server was horrible too!

    Espresso rubbed filet never disappoints! Double cut pork chop was excellent as well. Our favorite go to place for a nice dinner!

    Love to come to Kaufman’s after attending a musical at the Strand. Wait Staff is always kind and attentive and the decor is beautiful. I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve had.

    Service was very good. The crawfish ettufah (?spelling) was ok but the New Zealand lamb was excellent. Will return and interested in trying the fresh halibut.

    We were seated downstairs in the wine cellar. First time in this location. Quieter than upstairs. Food and service were excellent.
