A fabulous meal! Service was amazing. We went after a rugby game and the place was packed but the food was served in a reasonable time. We were running a little late but the staff still accommodated us. My son left an expensive bag that contained his air pods. I rang the restaurant the following day and left a message. We also drove past and left a note. Fortunately the manager attended early on the Sunday and contacted me. The bag was still there which was amazing and had been put away by staff. That wouldn’t happen anywhere!! Thank you all so much and we will recommend and return!

Great atmosphere as always in there. Always go after the Army Navy Rugby match. However, on this occasion, it wasn't as good an experience as previous times. We sat downstairs, no problem, but were in the corner where three of us were underneath the metal spiral staircase which meant we had to be very careful when standing up to not hit our heads or upper body and had to stay stooped to get out then could stand up. For each person in the corners to get to the loo for example, most others also had to get up, being careful along the way. One felt quite claustrophobic as a result. Plus, being sat where we were, if you looked up and there was a lady above with a skirt, not great! Overall, the food was very good however, they got an order wrong. Lamb was ordered and chicken was received instead. No offer was made to rectify it with a very weak answer as to how long it would take to sort as the person didn't really want chicken but also didn't want to sit waiting for the correct dish when everyone else was eating. It was accepted as a result of this but no offer was made of a discount of the dish on the final bill. The dish was approx. £14 so it would have been nice as was the waiter's fault as others on the table confirmed lamb had been asked for. Ambience was the usual post rugby type which was great and speed of service was good for how busy they were. Always book in advance if going on a rugby day. Generally good but shame about the seating arrangement and the wrong dish being served.

Really lovely food . Great to have something different to try. The service was good , food great . We enjoyed trying the momo’s and pork curry ! Delicious will definitely come again .
