   Atmosphere was top shelf. Server was inattentive and never asked if we needed anything. Ordered a $26 Manhattan that came a 1/2” short of filling a standard martini glass, wondered where the rest of it was. It was garnished with a candied cherry instead of a Luxardo cherry, wasn’t expecting that based upon the atmosphere and price of the drink. My appetizer was clearly plated well in advance of the order and served luke warm. Ordered the duck special which consisted of 4 small pieces that were 50% fat and it was overcooked. I left feeling disappointed, I honestly expected a much better dining experience.

   Service and value is not there. They are worried about pumping people in and out of there and turning tables. We had a 5:15 reservation, they called and asked us to come early for 5pm. We arrive at 4:55pm, doors and locked and guests are waiting outside in the cold despite the hours being posted on the door as open. They finally opened the doors at 5:05pm no explanation or apology. The Meze “platter” came with very little pita. We essentially had a whole plate of dip left and no pitas. Eventually we got more, I then saw on the bill they charged us 4.00 for the additional ones they brought. There is no way a few tablespoons of dips and I’m guessing 1.5 pitas was worth 27.00 dollars. The branzino was actually great. It’s not cheap at 55.00. We got a few sides and shared the fish. They also added a 5.00 extra charge to share the fish. Again a surprise on the bill, so bizarre and unnecessary at that price point. Service was not great especially considering the cost of the meal. At least 10 mins waiting for drinks. We would never go back.

   Appetizers excellent . Hummus, whipped goat cheese plate delicious . I ordered lamb chops . The sweet potato puree was cold, as were the string beans. The lamb chops were luke warm, almost cold. They were tasty though. The fingerling potato sides were also cold and usually they would be a bit crispy (roasted) these were just simple potatoes.

   Very good food & the service was great ! Flavor of food was excellent ! Wine & drinks were overpriced . Enjoyed the atmosphere too

   I never leave reviews but I felt compelled to after dining here for Valentine’s Day. We were quickly seated upon arriving despite the entry way being overly crowded with guests. After 20 minutes we were greeted and our order was taken. The place was busy so that was understandable. We ordered 2 cocktails, an appetizer, and our entrees with the waitress who couldn’t seem more bothered by us being there. Our appetizer and meals came out at the exact same time(about 5 mins after we ordered) which was actually quite shocking as we wondered how it was possible to actually prepare a meal so fast. I will say the salmon was fantastic. Our cocktails arrived as we were finishing our dinner…. We felt rushed and spent less than an hour dining at the restaurant. Great food but awful service and ambience

    While the food and the ambiance were great, our server was no where to be found. We were attended by busboys only. A server at the adjacent table told her diners about the restaurant history and the Macedonian chef and the unique recipes he created. That was very interesting to overhear. Too bad our service wasn’t good.
