   I have only been to this location twice and It did not disappoint 🤩 first time I tried the hot chocolate and it came with small conchas which btw it was the bomb. With a burrito 🌯 I thought it had a earthy taste which not going to lie it taste good! This being my second time coming to this place but for my birthday 🎉 and it was great service, food, and ambiance was awesome. Def planning on going back for another birthday 🎉 Thanks to our waitress she was so awesome!

   Food and drinks were amazing. Service was not good even though we were one of the only parties in the restaurant at the time. Very slow to get orders, forgot one of the dinner orders and had to find someone to let them know because nobody came back to the table to make sure we had gotten everything. Let the server know before we ordered that we needed to split the bill between two parties and the bill was still an issue at the end. Will definitely be back because the food is really good. Hopefully this was just an off night on the service side.

   This place was really amazing, lots of great food for choices, the atmosphere and ambience was incredible! I just wish there was more options for drinks with the brunch. But still amazing and will go back!!! ✨✨✨✨✨

   The music was wayyyyy too loud. Other than that It's a fun place that got crowded very quickly. The fajitas were great. The birria queso tacos were awesome.

   Had a good time and dining experience at Kalaveras in Newport Beach. We had reservations for the evening and arrived a bit early and decided to sit at the bar. Daniel, the bartender, was superb in both customer service and his craft cocktail mixology. We started with ranch water with Don Julio Blanco with Topo Chico and three limes muddled with mint and the empanada appetizer. The ambiance was positive, and the background music complimented the ambiance. My wife ordered the chile Verde chicken enchilada plate, and I had the chicken fajitas. Both dishes were well presented, hot and tasty. We also had a second round as Daniel mixed a great drink. Good people, food, and service. Highly recommended

   Good is good. Service is terrible. Wait times and attention are terrible. Seems like always understaffed. Bad enough that no longer worth going here.

    This was the first time we've been here.    We were here for birthday celebration. Food was delicious for the price. Staff was semi-attentive. Didn't get water until we asked half though meal. The waitress said she would bring celebratory candy shots which I thought were free until I saw the charge on the receipt. It was kind of sneaky as the way she presented it and as they are not listed on the menu, we didn't know the true cost until receipt came. She offered them as they were free and who wouldn't say no to free shots? I didn't contest it as we drank the shots, I just didn't like how it was presented. It shot was $10 which wasn't worth it. Added an additional $40 to the bill I wouldn't have paid. Additional, I tried using the chat future on OpenTable to ask questions and never got answers before our reservation. I would consider going back, just not anytime soon.
