I like the food here but they shouldn’t take bookings if they’re too understaffed to serve tables promptly, take orders quicker than twenty minutes after seating, fail to bring drinks for another fifteen minutes and bring the starter after the main and the side not at all but still attempt to bill us for it.

The staff was nice and helpful. Food was generally good. Thanks for recommending Black Cod to me, it's super delicious! Would come back later for it again.

Distinctly average. Small portions. Unexceptional and overpriced. Left feeling fleeced rather than satisfied. By the by ...The Ned has a nice busy atmosphere, and decadent Christmas decorations, but Kaia struggles with seating options. Requested a table (rare) when booking and was told it should be ok as I was "early" but at 12.30pm the place was already full. First offered a pair of seats at a long marble counter opposite each other but with an enormous bankers' desklamp directly between us. Instead of cramped side-by-side seats at the small sushi counter a pair of stools was eventually found without a lamp obstruction.

This was unbelievably expensive for what it was. We had two sets of dumplings, two sashimi, a bottle and two glasses of wine and the bill was £200! I would not go back.

Food was good, but the high table counters are not good for a conversation

Service was good, a young waiter but very professional and friendly. Food taste good but nothing outstanding especially for the price. Better atmosphere and taste/price ratio at e.g stick n sushi or roka. Fine to bring a colleague or to impress a date if working nearby but I won’t rush to go back or cross the city to go there for sushi

Booked a table days in advance but got a front facing bench in front of the open grill. Would expect a table if I booked one. Managed to get moved to the Sushi Bar which was great. Operate a first come first serve ice basis even with bookings… Food was great but expensive. Service was excellent and staff very courteous
