Justine is a brasserie in New Orleans’ historic French Quarter. Opened in 2019 by husband-wife team Justin & Mia Devillier of La Petite Grocery, Justine combines the sophistication of Parisian brasseries with the playfulness of the South’s most lively district. Featuring dishes like Mussels, Escargot & Steak Frites, the menu honors the technique and simplicity of French classics, while evoking the senses with exciting, grand presentation. Other seafood and steak favorites include Shrimp & Grits, Pan Roasted Red Snapper, Shrimp Remoulade, NY Strip & Hanger Steak. True to the heart of French brasserie culture, the bustling, multi-roomed restaurant offers a versatile space to be enjoyed by all, whether it’s for a weekday lunch, afternoon glass of wine or celebratory dinner. The café side opens to the Chartres Street sidewalk, emulating a quintessential Parisian-street experience with daytime fare. The kitchen is led by James Beard Award Winning Chef & Owner Justin Devillier.

Amazing experience for my birthday. They gifted me with free creme brûlée & champagne. I loved everything about this restaurant, and would DEFINITELY visit again.

We really enjoyed the food and wonderful presentation of our meal. We also liked our server Angelo - he was bustling around and was as attentive as he could be. It was busier than we expected for a Monday night, which made for a great ambience. Shrimp and grits had a welcome gourmet flare to a classic New Orleans dish, steak tartare appetizer was a huge portion, and onion soup was delicious (but could have been a little hotter). Bartender was busy and we ended up getting our appetizers before the cocktail, but we were overall really pleased. Fun, beautiful decor. Hope to dine again next time we are in New Orleans!

This was my second visit and this place is literally one of my favorite places in the city. The service, food and drinks are always top tier. The atmosphere, decor and music were simply beautiful. I will definitely be returning. Special shoutout to Eric and the other server for making my friend’s birthday celebration extra special.

We ate at Justine on our first night in New Orleans and the food was phenomenal. We had Jazmine Carter as our server and she was great, very attentive and personable. I would highly recommend Justine if you would like a great dining experience in the heart of New Orleans as a tourist.

We were looking for a delicious French restaurant with a nice wine selection and Justine exceeded our expectations! Angelo our waiter was so wonderful and made some great suggestions. Jasmine who was the server in training was so sweet & attentive. The hostess Taylor was also very sweet. The food was amazing as well. I had the Justine burger and my husband had the shrimp and grits. We ate every last bite and enjoyed the entire experience. We highly recommend Justines and will definitely come back next time we're in NOLA!!

Arrived at 8:15 pm with one extra diner that they accommodated. Service was extremely slow at best with food arriving after 10:00 pm. Portions were smaller than expected. Shrimp profiteroles were very small and nothing exceptional. We could barely find the shrimp filling. Escargot was good, but snails were on the smaller side and how hard is it to mess up butter garlic sauce. Hamburger was undercooked and included a slab of cheese and arugula. Shrimp and grits were good, but I’ve definitely had better. Frites were shoestring size and seemed to be fresh cut with ketchup and Justine sauce that was a combination of tarter and remoulade flavors. I would not recommend this restaurant. Doesn’t seem to be up to the standards of the other restaurants in this group.

Scheduled dinner for special occasion for work. Booked because reviews said it was a James Beared award winner restaurant, but don’t be fooled. This restaurant not only is not an award winning restaurant, but one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Food all came out cold. Food came before our first drink. 1/2 table food finally came, then they finished by the time other 1/2 table received their food. Waitress then gave us check including the tip conveniently for her while we were still eating but didn’t ask if we wanted a second drink or dessert. I was so embarrassed that I recommended the restaurant for our group & our special occasion. DO NOT go here no matter what. Even if you are given free meal or whatever, don’t be fooled. Justine Restaurant is awful experience & don’t go for any occasion. Waffle House or any gas station would be better food & service than Justine Restaurant.
