Great welcome by host. Beautiful ambiance with long wood centre table decorated beautifully for the thanksgiving season, featuring French and other liqueurs, and other decor that was warm and enticing. Food was perfectly prepared: onion soup warms. D light yet flavourful and each dish, seared tuna special, wagyu beef, French fries, and side veg. Absolutely perfect w// subtle and Delish sauces. Perfect lemon tart and chocolate mousse light as air were ideal finishers. Service friendly and warm without being overwhelming. Room is charming and comfortable. No pretence here! And best of all, still excellent value - where else can you get cote de boeuf, duck breast or rack of lamb with shrimp appetizer and dessert for 2 people at $109? Only criticism: the resto has 3 steps to dining area. No ramp for persons in a wheelchair or Walker.

Tuesday special was so tender. The salad dressing had just the right tang to work with the meat. This was our second time here and it has not disappointed.
