   Steak was bland and unseasoned. Chicken was mushy but the curry was excellent. Food for all parties came out at different times as did the cocktails and the coffee. Atmosphere was lovely but overall overpriced and disappointing. We had been there once before and they served coffee and pastries but had no place for you to sit down and drink it. They guarded the restaurant area (that was empty) like it was the VIP section in the Queens Palace and would not let anyone use it!!

   We celebrated our anniversary dinner here. I'm guessing our server was new. Service was extremely slow, but in all fairness, the table near us with a different server was just as slow. We were the only 2 tables in the restaurant at the time (630) so there really was no excuse. Ordered the filet, medium rare, which came out at room temperature. Ordered 2 bourbons and was charged $2 per ice cube. Also was charged a 3.5% "restaurant fee"! Really, an unexplained fee for eating at the restaurant? Tried to like it but won't be back.

   Usually our favorite place. Disappointed last visit due to drinks, food and service. Unfortunately the bartender did not know how to make basic drinks, they brought tough beef tips instead of the short ribs and the service was mediocre . We will not return. Lots of great competition in Clayton and Highlands.

   Julep Farms never disappoints. Beautiful environment inside and out. Food is out of the ordinary and portions are generous. We drive over an hour several times a year just to have this experience!

   Service could use some help, mostly just inexperienced servers. The food was good but not special. Some issues like being out of all milk at the coffee bar seem avoidable.

   We made reservations for Valentine’s Day and told the restaurant in advance that we didn’t drink and to delete the cocktails and wine that came from our prix fixe dinner. We were told they could substitute virgin drinks/mocktails. The waitress brought us alcohol drinks anyway, repeatedly, and when we rejected them and ordered mocktails, they wanted to up charge us for non-alcoholic drinks. The general manager was rude and unwilling to compromise with any other beverage choice that would be included in our $100 per person dinner. And, to pour salt on the wound, they charged us a 20% tip. It’s a beautiful spot, but we’ll never go back.

    The valentines fixed menu was 9 courses of shear bliss! Every course was better than the last. The atmosphere was very elegant, and the server was extremely attentive, the food was phenomenal. My wife and I couldn't recommend this restaurant any more, a must try if you are int he Clayton / Dillard area!
