Second time we’ve been there and this time with a big group and everything was great. The quality of the food, freshness, taste, service, and quietness were a 10/10 on our book. We will visit again. Btw everywhere I go and they have branzino on the menu I have to try it and compare it with others. Yesterday’s branzino was the best one I’ve had. I can’t believe it topped the one we had in Chicago, but it did 👏🏽

We waited 30 minutes at our table before anyone acknowledged us. It was so dark outside, we could not read our menus without the use of our phone flashlights. Our server, Christian, was excellent, trying to make up for the mishap. The food was average.

Ambiance and views were beautiful. However dinner was disappointing and quality, taste and presentation of entrees were poor. Steak was fatty, swordfish was tough, pasta was underdone and my thai red curry plate which was supposed to be vegetarian ended up having some type of mystery protein in it… maybe fish or pork? Wine and apps were good, but the rest of the meal was terrible and disappointing especially seeing the venue, the food should be as beautiful. Reservations were at 5pm, got our entrees at 7pm which made it worse. Maybe the chef is on vacation? Idk, but for the cost of eating at this restaurant, meals should be special and memorable, but completely underwhelmed… left hungry so ordering pizza on the way home.

Desde que llegamos se tardaron en sentarnos, el servicio fue pesimo. Muy poca opcion para escoger, toda la comida fria, porciones muy pequeñas y con poco sabor para completar los postres no estaban buenos y se tardaron hasta para traer la cuenta por que se fue la luz.

We reserved a table on the terrace and when we arrived none were available. They sat us at a table next to the bar, and we pointed out a family on the terrace looked like they were leaving so we would return in 20 minutes for that table instead. We returned and the table was empty but not set. They sat us host was missing to seat us. Finally a server came to set the table-without a tablecloth. He said they had run out (at 7pm). Inside were unused tables with cloths. My main course was served without silverware. The food took forever to arrive. The restaurant food is fine (not excellent) and the staff friendly, but they are seriously understaffed and poorly trained. It’s a shame because the Royal Isabella is expensive and although the setting is stunning, the restaurant makes the experience less than desirable.
