   We had to pay for 2 no shows to our group. Wish that was stated larger at the top vs fine print at the bottom.

   Hello Sharon, Thanks for the feedback. During the reservation process online the "$15 No Show Fee" is stated multiple times and has to be check marked to agree to the terms to book your reservation. In todays day I understand we all get used to scrolling pass the fine print. I am sorry that you did not realize your guests that did not show would incur a fee. Since we prepare food prior to your reservation we do charge the cancellation fee for the food that was prepared and not paid for. This can be avoided by letting us know prior to your reservation that the number of people in your group has changed. We ask for 24 hours but even accommodate finding out guest changes a couple of hours prior to the reservation. Please let me know if I can help you in any way. Thank you! Shannon Joseph

   Horrible service. Never welcomed us nicely-she seemed stressed and not happy. Not a pleasant experience at all. We walked out!

   This was my first time at JTR and it won’t be my last. Service was fantastic. Food was tasty. Excellent variety of teas! Lots of fun photo ops. Excellent value for the money. I will definitely do this again

   What a lovely experience! So many different teas to choose from! They are very proactive in determining allergies and needs. The afternoon tea had a great selection of sandwiches, scones and desserts. So generous that we had bring half of it home. It’s such a pretty atmosphere, very Instagramable. Going to try the Dunedin location next.

   We had an amazing experience. Shannon, one of the owners, greeted us. The space is beautifully decorated with bright colors and flowers. The tea and food were delicious. We especially enjoyed the scones. We enjoyed the tea so much we bought a few bags to bring back with us to PA. The entire experience was well worth the price point. I would definitely return if I came back to the area. Thanks so much for hospitality Shannon!

   Nice for a special occasion or a nice idea for a girlie lunch experience. I have been to many tea rooms. This is something I have enjoyed a lot from a young adult. I have now shared the experience & passed the tradition on with my daughter from a very young age. This is something we love to do together when she comes home from college or if I go up to visit her. I do feel that the prices at Joseph’s are higher than most tea rooms we have been to. The food is pretty good, just pricey for what you get. I do feel they sometimes either over steep or under steep the tea in the pot they bring to your table (too bitter or just tastes like hot water). We have told the server this on previous visits but she did not offer to give us a new pot. The prices are way too high to have to try & drink a pot of tea that doesn’t taste good.

I would love to speak with you further as we usually do always offer to make a different tea for guests if they are not happy with what they get. We are really well known for the quality and variety of our tea blends and want everyone to have a great experience. In regards to the price, everywhere my husband and I go for Afternoon Tea we pay $75++ and up per person plus tax and gratuity. Locations in PA, Tampa, Orlando, NYC, Madrid, London, Paris...everywhere is much more expensive than what we charge for a similar experience. Our price at $39 is extremely affordable for all the food, service, and atmosphere we provide for our guests. Thank you again for your feedback! Shannon Joseph
