   Our group of 8 met to celebrate a birthday; the total experience was superbly outstanding, from the server Bobbye to the wait staff Ryan!!! We were supremely impressed with the ambiance, music selection and of course, the fabulous meal assortment we were deliciously served. I can’t say that we’ve had a more memorable experience in quite a while and for sure will return to enjoy staff, food and excellent service by the Jordyn team!

   We ate here for my dad’s birthday. The food was perfectly seasoned and everything we had was delicious. We had reservations for 3pm on a Sunday, but ended up arriving about 20-30 minutes early. Despite that they seated us within a few minutes. Our server, Mari was very pleasant and checked on us several times. The wait for our food was reasonable, in fact the food arrived before our appetizer. The chicken wings were very good. My mom’s short ribs were tender and the gravy was delicious. The collard greens were excellent as well. They have some amazing cocktails as well. We were pleased with the food and service overall. Make sure you have a reservation. We tried walking in a couple weeks ago and they were unable to accommodate us. We will definitely be back.

   The servers was absolutely horrible. I waited 20 minutes to get seated after placing a reservation once seated 30 minutes have went by and no one came to take our order. I had to flag someone down to let them know that we haven’t been serviced yet. Then once the waitress came and took our order another 30 minutes written by and we haven’t received anything so I just got up and left. I never felt so disrespected in my life was absolutely horrible. I am so disappointed.

   Assuming the time we went 8pm reservation didn't sit until 8:30 , didn't get food until 10 enough said and it was cold

   Worst experience ever. Please don't ever go there i am begging everyone. I had a 7:30 reservation for 8 people for my girlfriend birthday and did not get seated until 8:30 at a correct table then we just sat there waiting to get service no waiter ever came to our table so at 9 so went to to bar to see what was going on and then around 9:10 she finally came to take our drink orders and took forever to bring our drinks and then finally came back to take our food order and took forever to bring our food and was missing some of our food and they had to go back to the kitchen and get madke the rest of it. Omg this was a horrible experience and for my girlfriend birthday and for her friends as well. There was a 20% gratuity and you had to pay with cash only there. Horrible service. Non attentive. I had to keep going up to the bar to get to the waitress and manager for things that should have been done and taken care right from the beginning and during our service and reservation there. PLEASE DONT GO THERE AM BEGGING YALL THIS IS NOT A GOOD ESTABLISHMENT.

   Very nice environment. It was a first time dining experience for me and my family so we were very excited to try a new Black owned restaurant. Reservation was for my husband’s birthday and I’m glad I did because the food was so so good and seasoned with love!! Our waitress was Jazzmon (I believe that’s how you spell her name) who was very attentive. Even though she was waiting multiple tables she managed to keep up with our entire party’s order and it was 5 of us. All of our food came out in a reasonable amount of time with the temperature nice and warm. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back soon!

   I’ve visited Jordyn’s 3 times now. The food has been consistently exceptional. This is authentic soul food prepared to perfection. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for homemade type dishes. There are a lot soul food restaurants to choose from in the Chicagoland area, however, you’re looking for soul food with flavors like our grandmothers and great grandmothers were known for, don’t look any further!

    I’ve been to Jordyn’s a few times. The food is good, the service is slow. Took almost 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order and another 30-40 minutes before our food arrived. The food offerings are varied and pleasing. I love the location because I live in HPK.
