   Second time eating here and like the last time is was amazing. Staff are super attentive and friendly. Food is great. Their pizzetta’s are always a great shout! Unfortunately didn’t get a chance to try the desserts this time round. To be given a loaf of bread to take away at the end of the meal was lovely. A 10 out of 10 experience

   Just fabulous. Great space, lovely staff serving and utterly delicious food. Wine is crazy expensive by the bottle but fine by the glass. Real local gem.

   Always delicious small plates of fresh ingredients. The surroundings are relaxed. There may be dogs and babies around and people chatting. Great food and great ambiance

   It was a bit of an overall unsettling experience. They had drawn some lovely balloons on the table which was a nice touch however we had chosen this restaurant because our friend wanted to go here as she’d read about their tiramisu on social media. This had been requested in advance but when we turned up they weren’t serving any. I understand the menu changes per day however if this was the case it would have been nice to have been notified in advance. Furthermore the main dish my friend and I ordered was incredibly unpleasant in flavour and we asked to swap our dishes which we had barely touched. The response we received was that the dish flavours were correct and that we would still have to pay for the dish irregardless and pay for something else. This instantly made us feel uncomfortable, plus unsure what to order instead and pushed us over our intended budget. It would have been nice to offer to take off one dish or the cost of one of the side dishes which is often the case in hospitality work. So we ended up leaving feeling pushed out and not wanting to order more based on the communication style and lack of empathy.

   We had an excellent time. The service is attentive, the food is delicious, and the prices are fair. I have been wanting to go to Jolene for a while and I will certainly be back. Desserts were heavenly!

   Great experience at Jolene after serendipitously finding ourselves in the neighbourhood The food was really lovely - reasonable portion sizes and service was on point. Highly recommended

    Lovely early evening meal in Jolene Tuesday 17th Sept (7pm). Place was packed and had a great vibe considering it was only Tuesday evening. Our waiter was superb and couldn’t do enough to help us with the menu and just chat. Food was SO good the pizzetta was lovely as was the Pollock. I had food envy as the Guinea Fowl looked absolutely delicious. Portions are a good size and reasonably priced given the quality of the food. Wine is a little more on the expensive side but good quality and the carafe is a cheaper way to have a couple of decent glasses of wine. Love it here and will certainly be coming back again soon.
