   The food and service from JOEY exceeded our expectations! We came in for a girls’ night out and had the best time. Our server was attentive, efficient, and excellent at making recommendations to our preferences. The cocktails were expertly crafted, and the food fresh, delicious and beautifully presented.    JOEY Manhattan consistently delivers quality dishes and great ambiance, making it a go-to spot for a top-level dining experience. We started with a couple of apples, and the Hibachi Wings were a great twist on traditional chicken wings - perfectly cooked and savoury. The hummus was bursting with flavour and pita soft. For our mains, I had the sirloin steak, which was cooked perfectly and offered a tender, flavourful bite. The crispy mash was absolutely delightful. Awesome time!

   Never a bad time here. Food is always good, a service is great, and the music in the background pairs perfectly with a nice drink.

   Pros: -Amazing service. Bar none. So attentive. Food came out of the kitchen very quickly. -Nice presentations -wonderful sauces -Hummus plate was very very good. Great salty pita chips - Goyza were too notch. Highly recommended - Great ambiance too. Hip, trendy but not pretentious - Some of the best restrooms of any restaurant I have ever been to. Individual private restrooms. Metal grate below toilet for men that make a peeing mess. -Apple tart dessert was delish. Not overwhelming like a deep dish apple pie. Just right. - checkout system via sever is the safest and classiest of any restaurant Ipad. Two step verification that your check is accurate before you pay. Tip section is so cool. Lets you choose % or amount. Both boxes are next to each other so you can see what the amount is if you choose a percent or the percent if you choose the amount. Hope that makes sense Cons: Value. Not good. Prices are way out of line. I do not get it. $23.00 for a Tito's Espresso Martini. $64.00 for a sushi roll and filet mignon tataki style beef Dish. The filet was a $29 upgrade. Hummus appetizer was $21!!! 9.5% sales tax!!!

   From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a host, asked how your day is, and then offered a glass of bubbles as they escorted you to your table. Reservations are highly recommended as both the dtla locations and Manhattan Beach are quite busy. Everyone from the server to the food runner and everyone in between offer exceptional service. The experience feels like that of old Hollywood where exceptional service was the norm. Bravo Joey, for being our number 1, go to place for a phenomenal experience.

   Our food, delicious, our servers, outstanding, but even at a round table with six I couldn’t hear a thing without people raising their voices to abnormally loud levels. My advice: don’t go on a Saturday night, but do go!

    6 PM reservation, sat with in a few minutes, but it took another 15-20 minutes to have service take our drink order. Food was fantastic, exceeded expectations, service was lacking and strange. Water service; came to our table once in the 70 minutes. Paper napkins, strange for a place that wants to be Upscale. Surround with tables of employees taking a break. Loud hip hop music, pumping in the background, low lighting, carry your phone so you have enough lighting to see the menu. The food saved the night, everything else says not worth going.
