Joe's Original, formerly Not Your Average Joe's -Dartmouth features a casual, made - from scratch menu served in a restaurant and bar that offers guests a place to gather with family and friends. Our menu is filled with elevated American favorites, and our goal is to combine the delicious cuisine of a fine dining restaurant with the comfortable atmosphere of a neighborhood bistro- a place where everyone knows your name.

    Our close friends, my husband and I were thoroughly pleased we selected this restaurant to start off our New Years Eve! We were seated to a nice booth within minutes of arriving for reservation time! Our server Taylor was efficient and friendly…drinks, the great bread and dip arrived without a problem…..our meals too. All of us definitely enjoyed what we ordered!

    We have been going there for a while. Love it. Tonight there was a mistake on my meal. No biggie to me, but they more than made it right. Class act here. You won’t be disappointed.

    The staff always goes above and beyond. Great wait staff; great management. They were so accommodating to us on New Years Eve. Comfortably squoze in a 7th seat in our reservation although they were completely booked. The food is consistently delicious and fresh. Highly recommend!

    Always have a great meal at Joe’s. My friend and I go for lunch there at least twice a month. This time it was very crowded so the noise level was high but not so you couldn’t hear yourself talk. Got two gift certificates for Christmas so will definitely be back!

    The only complaint I have is the bbq meatloaf went from one solid piece to 3 slices, the problem is is that it dries the meatloaf out a bit when cooked this way! It’s to bad I’ve been ordering this for years until now! It’s just not the same meatloaf anymore 🙁

    It was easy to make our reservation on Open Table. We arrived a few minutes early & were seated right away. Our Server, Abbey was terrific. She asked about food allergies & special preferences before we ordered. The Appetizers & Meals were all terrific with plenty to take home. The ambiance was fun & festive, but we could still hear each other on a busy Friday night.
