   Based on recommendations, I had really high expectations for this restaurant unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. Food: the food was great, the only issue is how drenched in sauce almost everything was. I wish they allowed their meals to be enjoyed as minimally as possible without serving them with the additional sauces. Atmosphere: There was a live band here and me and my party kept yelling at each other to hear each other speak. It was also quite dimly-lit and we couldn’t see each other nor our food properly. Service: This is where it all goes down significantly. I’ll start by saying they had a sommelier (or wine server?) who was really helpful in helping us choose our wines but unfortunately that’s the only positive thing to say about the service. The waiter assigned to our table seemed so flustered and rushed that when she came to pack our plates after the mains, she also packed our remaining potato sides while we were still eating them! We couldn’t tell her to stop because of the loud music! When we pointed it out, she immediately became defensive that she asked to clear the table so she thought we meant everything! Time to split the bill, it was my birthday so I asked to cover the drinks (1 bottle of wine, 1 NA cocktail, 1 daiquiri) for the table and what I ate only, this was apparently too complicated. They kept messing it up, added drinks we didn’t drink, had a huge problem with how I wanted it to be split until I gave up and asked the bill to be split equally. It was unfortunate because I wanted to treat my friends to drinks on my birthday. What was even more infuriating was how openly they kept grumbling and making it seem like the ask was gargantuan with a party of 4! How then do they handle large parties of 10?? Finally, in my booking I specified it was my birthday. This restaurant did not acknowledge that nor send the typical complimentary birthday dessert with a candle.    Outstandingly creative food and excellent service. The Potato Bread with accompaniments, Tuna Ceviche starter and the Wagyu beef ribeye mains were standouts. Good and not overpriced wine list too. Attentive but not intrusive service and friendly staff. A really great experience and highly recommended.

   Pros: Food tasted great. Amazing waiter, friendly and helpful. Cons: Small portions. Bread needs to be bought separately from everything. Very slow service. Extremely loud music, not very ambietic. Not worth the price. Would not recommend.

   Great place, service could do with a few more people to be 5 star but food was great and nice ambiance with distanced tables which was refreshing to see. Price is what it is for the area.

   Extremely disappointed on my 3rd visit to see this restaurant get ruined by unacceptably poor service when the food & ambience is actually decent. My guest and I arrived at 5:05 PM for my 5 PM booking on the 25th. There was no one at the reception and staff were huddled in what looked like a team meeting. After a while, a bearded male member of staff who appeared to be the manager in a blue suit comes to the desk with the most unwelcoming body language and basically asks me and my guest what we want - what else would I want in a restaurant?? I proceed to tell him I have a booking under (insert common English name). I'm a fluent English speaker and my name is as common as they come but he made me repeat myself thrice only to rudely say to me "are you speaking in Spanish or what" The only thing I can imagine interrupted his hearing as the restaurant was very quiet is the colour of my skin? A female host/staff member eventually came over to help, she quickly found my booking and advised me they weren't open yet?? They usually open at 5:30 PM. I can't understand why I was allowed to make a booking for 5 PM online. We proceeded to wait until after 5:20 PM to be seated. Thankfully we had a great waiter so I was happy to pay the service charge. Whoever the male staff member who asked me if I'm speaking in "Spanish or what" has no business working in hospitality and even less so as a manager if he is one. He has tainted the image of this restaurant for me so much so I will not consider returning

   This was an okay meal that felt as if it was at least 50% too much on cost nothing was cheap but nothing was bad

    Some outstanding items on menu such as bread with honey and steak but rest is average and not reflecting the price
