An intimate and informal space, with a DJ booth and bespoke sound-system, Jazu is a Hi-Fi Cocktail bar that offers serious drinks and music. Take a seat at the bar or settle into the dining room, there is also outside seating available.

In the kitchen, we run a frequent rotation of pop-ups, so please check our website or instagram for details of forthcoming kitchen takeovers. Previous residents include: Eric Wan, who trained at Dinner by Heston, cooked a menu of southern Vietnamese delights; Nicolas Hasina, Sous Chef at Toklas, who brought the flavours of his native Madagascar to the kitchen; Homeboy Pizza, cooked up traditional, deep-pan, Sicilian pizzas; and Duda Diner shared the fresh, fragrant flavours of Malaysian street food.

2025 sees Hasting's finest, Wavey Bar, take over the kitchen, serving a menu of refined and hyper-seasonal small plates.

Food was unreal and cocktails were unique. Live DJ was a nice touch as well. Didn’t give 5 stars because the restaurant was overcrowded and staff took a while to notice us. Perhaps it wasn’t table service - but that never was made clear to us, and the bill was brought to the table when we asked for it. The seating layout was awkward too, we were wedged in between two longer tables diagonally.

Amazing sound system. The night we visited they were doing tacos which were super tasty. They have good DJs on too but the sound system means the music is always at the perfect level.

We ordered a mix of plates to share - cheese puffs, celeriac shawarma, pork schnitzel and crispy potatoes. All were super tasty! The cocktails are next level, inventive and delicious!

Really lovely ambiance and music was great on Friday night. Cocktails were a nice twist on well loved classics and food was simple and delicious.
