Javier's Irvine Spectrum serves original Mexican cuisine. Opened in 2004 and located close to the 405 and 5 freeways, the restaurant offers numerous entrees and combo meals. Javier's Irvine Spectrum selects and serves only the freshest ingredients, including sustainable and in-season seafood, natural chicken and center-cut #1 prime Angus beef. Every dish is prepared fresh to order, and guests may sit in the spacious main dining room, on the intimate patio, at the bar or in a private dining area.The dining room is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday until 11:00 p.m. Javier's Irvine Spectrum's full bar is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Reservations are accepted.

Great Mexican food - I had a mole poblano with chicken which was excellent (along with corn tortillas and rice). It was super flavorful and light, which is great for lunch. My client had seafood enchiladas, also great. If I’m in the area I’d definitely come back here. I can see why there was a line out the door when I arrived - it’s popular for a reason. Glad I had a reservation!

We had reservations for 730 did not get seated until 830. Did not receive our food until 945. Constantly out of water drinks chips. When we finally got dinner it was cold

I scheduled my office lunch for the holidays at Javier’s. We had great service and great food. The special was sea bass which was amazing. Javier’s have increased their prices yet again. Entrees are now about $50, which is nuts when probably two years ago it was $28 for enchiladas, rice and beans.

We had one of the worst servers we’ve ever experienced, she could not answer basic questions about the menu and food and drinks were extremely slow. Our buss boy was awesome and legitimately would have done a better job than our server.

Not happy with Javier’s decision to not include rice and beans with some of your enchilada meals. $42 plate of enchiladas that does not include rice and beans is ridiculous. Add rice and beans is another $12. ITS RICE AND BEANS! How cheap is that to make? First time ever as we are leaving around 7pm on a Saturday, we see empty tables and not many people waiting. Not surprised. People are catching on from what I’ve been reading. It’s a shame because the food and service are good. Not coming back.
