   Two weeks ago, my girlfriend and I had an exceptional, mind-blowing experience at Jamavar Doha. The food, service, and ambiance were outstanding, so much so that we canceled our original dinner plans for a special occasion and decided to celebrate our anniversary lunch at Jamavar London, expecting the same level of excellence. There’s no doubt—the food was amazing, especially the biryani and cocktails. However, the service was absolutely disappointing and disgraceful. •Poor Welcome: The host was rude, offering no smile, warmth, or proper greeting upon arrival. •Disruptive Guest Ignored: A diner was on a loud video call, disrupting the atmosphere, yet the staff chose to ignore it, likely because he was a regular this, at first, didn’t bother me much. •Service Delays: We ordered garlic naan and waited 15 minutes, only for our food to get cold but the naan never arrived. •Unequal Treatment: Every other table was served pappadams and chutney, but we never received any which we could still overlook. •Biased Attention: What truly frustrated and hurt us was the stark difference in attention. The same guest on the video call received personal service three times from the restaurant in-charge, while we were completely ignored. This level of service is unacceptable and disgraceful for a restaurant of this caliber. At the end, they offered a complimentary dessert, which we declined. Without us asking, they removed the drinks and service charge an unspoken apology, but the experience had already been ruined. The difference between Jamavar Doha and Jamavar London is massive. ✅ Jamavar Doha – Highly Recommended ❌ Jamavar London – Not Worth It

   The food was great and we were taken really good care of during the whole service. My only point of frustration was with my table not being ready at the time I had made my reservation for. I had booked a table for six adults and we were directed to a table of four. We were informed that the table next to us (a table for two) was running over their allotted time. While I had gone downstairs to the washroom, I realised that there were tables downstairs and the manager could have been proactive about the situation and offered to seat us downstairs (which is what I had suggested to the manager and then moved to) than to wait upstairs for the table which was running over their time.

   We've discovered this place a few years ago and went there for our anniversary. We've been coming here ever since to celebrate special occasions. The food is delicious, the service is incredible (very attentive), and the desserts are to die for. We'll come back many more times

   We had a lovely experience at Jamavar. I love the location in Mayfair. It has a nice elevated vibe & clientele,but not loud so easy for conversation. We enjoyed everything we ordered as well as the glass of Italian red wine. Service was very friendly & attentive. I would highly recommend.

   There is a waitress, who check our appointment in front of the door, he is so rude just for us! Also he didn’t talk to us with a nice mood and with no smile. However, with another person( wearing causal especially ) he smiled and very nice.

   Food quality has slipped badly since my last visit a year or two ago. On the basis of this visit they have lost the plot.

   I believe th staff can do with help waiting..... it this is a high end resturant they need to be more attentive. At 8pm second seating the entrance was such a mess. Starter was nice, the mains well... we ordered the chefs signature dishes and I could cook better.

   Incredibly poor service from the moment we walked in. Didn’t take our coats and I had to get them from my friends and find a waitress to give them too. Left out plates empty on the table for about 30 minutes. Couldn’t get water despite asking over and over again. Shocking experience

   It was not what I was expecting. The maitre d’hôtel is doing a great job but this is definitely not a Michelin star service. Regarding the cuisine I was very happy with the experience but expecting more flavours. The presentation, research is very interesting. Thank you for the great time and wish you all the best. Just 1 advise, invest more time with your team on services and guest experience.

    The staff were wonderful. However the food was just okay. The "small plates" portions were very small. The butter chicken was good, but not outstanding. Overall the food felt overpriced for the quality.
