    What can I say? Jaleo is definitely not the same restaurant it used to be, before it expanded across the country and opened up in Vegas. The service was excellent. Unfortunately, even though we had reservations, we were seated at at a small table crammed against a wall near the kitchen entrance. The overall ambience isn’t great. The place is loud, tightly packed and not too inviting. The most disappointing thing however is how the food, which was pretty good, doesn’t really have anything anymore which makes it special. It kind of feels like it was made on an assembly line. I wish we could get the old Jaleo back :-(

    Loved every dish we ordered, especially the paella! Cocktails are great and priced reasonably compared to other restaurant bars around the area.

    One of my favorite spots in DC. Croquetas are the best! The cetas (mushroom) with egg and scallops were also excellent. Great place if you want to share everything with your group!

    Was a busy night but that didn't slow them down. Food was great. Service was very attentive and helpful. Fun, upbeat place with lots of good choices.

    We had been wanting to have dinner at Jaleo for the past few years and finally got to go tonight for my wife’s birthday dinner. Let me start off by saying that it lived up to and exceeded our expectations. We had the mid-range tasting menu with the sherry pairing and every bite was delicious. Our experience was enhanced by our server Carlos’ knowledgeable description of each course and each of the sherries. We look forward to coming back.
