    I always have great food at Jake Melnick’s! The wait time for a table was extremely long for people who didn’t have a reservation, we did and we were seated right away. Who goes to a restaurant in Chicago on a Saturday night without reservations?! The service was outstanding. We always swing through Jake Melnick’s when we are in town, they have AMAZING wings.

    We mostly have decent to average service here and we come quite a bit. However, this time the service from Kevin was exceptional. Even though it appeared he had 5+ tables, he still delivered personalized service.

    I've always enjoyed their BBQ. The beer towers are fun and good value. I tried the wings for the first time on this recent visit and they were delicious!

    Had reservations and still waited 15 mins to be seated. Once seated, ordered drinks immediately. Waited 30 mins before they were at the table. Once there, 3 drinks were wrong. Waited another 30 mins for our food after ordering. Once the food arrived it was wrong on multiple orders and one order never even came to the table. Had a bad experience with service the first time we dined here but decided to give it another try. Horrible experience again. Would not recommend.
