We arrived at the restaurant for an anniversary meal about ten minutes before our booking time. Understandably we were asked to wait at the bar which we duly did. As our table time came and went we assumed, as it was busy, the restaurant was running a bit behind. Half an hour after our booked slot we asked the barman when we might be seated. He disappeared for a while, came back and told us that there had been an issue with the reservation system and that they were trying to find a us table. We left and had a very nice meal at Côte Brasserie opposite. Totally unacceptable and incredibly poor service.

Excellent service, food was good but nothing amazing about it . Very busy as you would expect in the run up to Christmas, staff were going very well . Very very noisy as it was so busy.

Perfect evening - almost! Food, service and the ambience were outstanding - however, both my friend and I tripped on a small step near our table. It had a lighting strip but I feel more is needed to make it safe. Apart from that it was an outstanding evening and staff were the best part - apart from the delicious food!

Welcoming, warm on a freezing cold day, excellent staff from cloakroom to front of house. Attentive, but not overbearing. Made us feel very special. Food appealed to all 4 of us and was enjoyed. Relaxing, not rushed. Overall, a great experience and can’t wait to go back.

Very busy so do book in advance. Lovely atmosphere, beautiful decor. Only had a main course as not used to eating much at lunchtime. Good was very nice ( had the truffle burger with chunky chips). Both had a glass of wine £9 & £12.50 for 175ml. Pretty expensive, only few options for by the glass, otherwise you have plenty of bottle options. Extensive cocktail list. Staff were attentive. Took your coats on arrival too. Private dining options. Festive menu £50 for 2 courses so thought this was expensive. All on all a lovely lunch with a friend.
