   We ate at the outside table and enjoyed the breeze. The appetizers were tasty and our main course was delicious.

   15 minutes before waiter acknowledged us. Not very friendly. Small portions. I ordered the Bolognese and I believe there were maybe five small pieces of hamburger in it. Espresso martini was over half foam and the food was just OK. Nothing to make me want to go back.

   We left - after the table that was sat long after us left (to put things in perspective). I can tell you that I have probably walked out of only 2-3 restaurants in my life. This place was horribly mismanaged. The server was busting his but to get things done, but simply couldn’t keep up.

   Understaffed creating an uncomfortable environment. It’s not the individual staffs fault but they were understaffed. Carbonara was the worst carbonara, it was not made with an egg or cream sauce. And table next us had a completely different looking carbonara. Menu was surcharged, up $5 from regular menu. Had to ask to find our reservation. Wait service was 15+ min after seated (only because we grabbed their attention). Pizza was good. Staff never checked on us but it was because they were too busy. Check took an hour after asking for it three times. This was our first time visiting the restaurant and we were looking forward to it. As a local, we were excited for the possibility of good Italian food in a great location next to the bandshell. Unfortunately, we felt like a burden to the understaffed team, got terrible pasta and check took so long we missed the band. Not a good experience and sad that we won’t return. We hope the restaurant management hears us and adjusts accordingly. We wish you success but this isn’t the formula yet.

   The food was amazing. Pizza and pasta was fresh and made with fresh ingredients. We took dessert to go because we were stuffed, but that was delicious as well.

   Well, it's New Year's Eve, and I can understand some of the limitations. We were a large group, and the restaurant was busy. Our waiter was not readily available for periods of time. The food was very good, but slow in coming. We asked for water and waited so long that we went to the fountain to get it ourselves. They ran out of wine glasses for our wine. We asked for a doggy bag for my wife's meal, although it was fantastic, my wife was not feeling that well, and wanted to take it home. After waiting 20 minutes, we left and saw my wife's plate with the food, in the bin for washing. The waitor presented the bill on a machine with only the amount, no breakdown. I asked if the tip was included in the amount and was told that 18% was included. The machine automatically gets requesting to add an additional tip. As if 18% is not sufficient. Overall, I liked the place, but it needs to work on its service. I entered my email address for the bill but still have not received it.

   The pizza was good, but the service was awful. Despite having a reservation, it took them 20 minutes to seat us. They served us a salad without dressing, and the waitstaff repeatedly forgot about us. To make things worse, people from the boardwalk kept walking in wearing bathing suits just to use the bathroom, creating a chaotic and unpleasant atmosphere. Definitely not the experience we were hoping for.

    The food is very good but the service is horrible. The servers just wander aimlessly asking every table whether they ordered whatever it is that they’re carrying. So our two kids were served 40 minutes apart, and it took 60 minutes from our first person served to our last….in a family of four!!
