   I had a wonderful dinner here. Great service by a lot of attentive staff. The food was marvelous and the restaurant for a Saturday evening is always very busy. You absolutely need to make a reservation. We were seated right away. Another couple without a reservation did not get seated and had to leave.

   Our server, Richard, was great. However, the kitchen sent our main course dishes out before we had finished our appetizers. Delivered by another waiter. Other than that the food and service were great.

   Food just not very good, lacked flavor and depth. Risotto was crunchy, the I ever have ever had. Wine list mediocre especially given the price point. Sorry, but would not return. Definitely would not recommend.

   Don't go hungry! Reservation at 7:00P, seated at 7:45P, server greeted us at 8:00P, and our drink order was delivered at 8:15P with food shortly after. The atmosphere was tense as servers rushed around, apologized to other diners, and generally seemed to be overwhelmed. Lots of folks were repeatedly asking about missing food they ordered or expressing their displeasure that things they requested had now "run out." The place seemed understaffed. The aloof hostess was (incompletely) bussing tables, the three servers were cleaning glasses and pouring wine, the one bartender was inundated with custom cocktails, and the two busboys looked lost trying to figure out what to clear or set up. Kitchen seemed to be working with three (?) people but overall this had the feel of a place that knows it has a captive audience resting on its good reviews and understaffing the place to squeeze out more profits. Food was fine, nothing special. Meatballs were well-seasoned but overcooked, pasta as starting to get mushy. Our server was decent enough to comp us a piece of delicious cake without asking because it was that slow. If you love waiting in a hostile crowd for mediocre Italian food with subpar service in a frantic and frustrated atmosphere, you'll love Il Vecchio.

   Food is even better than our previous visits. Slow service but it’s a holiday weekend.

   Staff was super friendly, great service, amazing food! Went for a date night, visiting out of town and would 100% go back!

   Great Valentine's day dinner! Had to turn the salmon back as it didn't quite taste right, but server immediately swapped the plate out with apologies, and I was very happy with my alternate dish (seafood pappardelle), which was brought our very quickly. Though the restaurant was crowded, we received just the right amount of attention with refills of wine and water, and a request for salt on the table. Nice touch to receive a red rose at the end of the splendid evening.
