   The experience was ok under the circumstances. It was very busy and they were an hour behind seating their reservations. There was no hospitality whatsoever during the 1 hour wait standing outside on the side walk. Maybe be s little less greedy and limit your reservations slightly to accommodate patrons who are lingering with friends and family on the holiday, if you do not believe in time limits on reservations.

   This restaurant does not take reservations. By making a reservation on this app it is allowing you to wait at this time. We waited 45min last night. Some waited over an hour because of their table size. I did question the definition of the word reservation, the very kind hostess said there was nothing she could do and she had no say with the management. The food and service was good…just be prepared to wait.

   Perfect ambiance and delicious food. The devil is in the details; the ossobucco alla Milanese was a standout (paired well with Chianti), as was the ravioli di Spinaci e Ricotta. We also enjoyed the desserts—tiramisu especially, as it was not too sweet and paired well with espresso. A major plus is that it felt like we were the only diners, despite being fully booked for Christmas Eve; a crowd had gathered at the host stand by the time we left, so I strongly recommend early supper 4-5pm for anyone with young children! It was intimate and private, and my toddler’s needs were always addressed patiently and with genuine warmth, as were my mother’s dietary requirements (gluten, dairy and nightshade allergies). Highly recommend for family meals especially.

   As a first time diner at the restaurant, the food was excellent, and the ambience, seating outside and the Christmas decorations were perfect. The only disappointment was our sever. He was very abrupt, was not attentive, he poured tap water into glasses half filled with sparkling water, we had to continually ask him for additional drinks, menus for desert, and we received the checks, that was being split into three, all crumpled up and cards with the wrong receipts. We look forward to returning as the positives out wayd the server disappointment.
