Charming small outpost of great restaurant in SOHO. Food, staff and service are good. Space is very limited and tables are piled on top on each other. Too many great Italian restaurants in NYC to pay a premium then leave bruised and battered from hard working staff constantly running into your table and chair.

Fantastic spot for a nice evening out. The ambiance was wonderful (music just slightly too loud), the server was perfectly attentive and the food is mouth watering. From baked clams and grilled octopus to seafood risotto and halibut, the menu is absolute perfection. Highly recommend and will certainly be returning

I have dined at Il Mulino Prime several times as I live in the neighborhood. The good news is you can always get a reservation which I have always thought was odd. However, the main reason is they don’t respect reservations and just pack the people into this tiny restaurant such that its a miricle to get out without a waiter spilling food on you. Its so noisy you cannot even carey on a conversation woth the person next to you. There are tables in the main thorough fare of the restaurant where waiters bump you and your chair on every pass. Its unfortunate as the food is very good but the customer experience is awful. That needs work!!!!

What a treat !! The food was delicious from appetizers to dessert. The staff were attentive, helpful but not obtrusive. Would highly recommend an evening at Il Mulino.

Service was not what I was expecting. Food was also just ok. Restaurant wasn’t that busy and it took about 30 minutes to place our drink order.

I love this restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect for any celebration. I recently celebrated my 21st birthday here with my friends, and we had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly, and everything about the experience made the day extra special. Highly recommend!
