   After all these years Il Fornaio, they still have good food and good service, plus it’s a beautiful restaurant! Love the pizzas, fresh made pastas and our family favorite dessert…an affogato, delish!

   This restaurant has been here for decades and it feels that way. It just seems kind of dated and more formal than most chain restaurants these days. The octopus dish was a miss. The octopus was cooked nicely but the boiled potatoes bits, raw celery, raw red onion and cherry tomatoes were not interesting accompaniments. There was a tiny splash of oil and maybe a dash of lemon juice, but it was very bland. My friend said her Caesar salad was limp and not very good.

   It’s such a shame that oh Il Fornio has absolutely terrible food. We ordered an appetizer of grilled brussels sprouts and they were so overcooked and mushy. One of our pasta dishes was completely undercooked and it was like rubber. We had to send it back. Our dinner Andre was ravioli and that was cold. The wine we had was good and that was about it. We will never go to this restaurant ever again. Such a shame it could really be a great place to go if the food was good. It’s a perfect location and the ambience is very nice. They need to get a chef in there that knows what he’s doing.

    Our waitress was attentive and cheerful. I ordered the branzino and it was cooked to perfection! My husband enjoyed the short rib ravioli and our daughter had a chicken and pesto pasta dish. All dishes arrived hot - very important to me! Looking forward to returning soon.
