Located in the historic Fulton Market district of Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, il Carciofo is a Roman Italian restaurant drawing inspiration from the restaurants and markets in one of Chef Joe's favorite cities, Rome.     Incredible dinning experience. We had a wonderful night out and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Food and drinks were top notch and the team here have produced another world class restaurant

    Joe Flamm has done it again! Rose mary is a tough act to follow but il Carciofo is up to the task. The food is incredible and the space is fabulous! My new fave!! The artichoke is a must try - I’ve never had anything like it!

    The entire team at Day Off Group does it again!!! Another amazing restaurant in the beautiful area of Fulton Market. The ambiance is beautiful and the food and cocktails were unique and delicious. We will definitely be back!!!

    il Carciofo is BEAUTIFUL. It’s open and airy and has great classic Chicago Italian restaurant vibes but in a modern open space. The food is amazing. Classic dishes like carbonara and handmade pastas that are simple but done at an exceptionally high level and quality. It felt warm and homey but still so creative. Must gets: - Carciofo Alla Guida - maybe the coolest and unique preparation of artichokes I’ve ever had. Delicious and lemony and crispy. - Pesce Spada Crudo - Joe Flamm does crudo better than anyone and I’ll fight you on that - Rigatoni Alla Carbonara - the perfect al dente rigatoni with the most luxurious eggy guanciale carbonara Can’t wait to be back to try many, many more things on this menu.
