   This restaurant was quite expensive for what was offered. Service was aggressive in getting you to order but no one ever refilled the water glasses. This despite having 5 different people for “service” in the course of one lunch. That’s not a discrepancy that one can overlook. The food’s okay; the best thing was the focaccia bread served as part of the meatball appetizer. Our first choice of appetizer we were told they didn’t have -the artichoke appetizer on the menu. Why? Also, know before you go— there is no comp on the single bday dessert that was given—unlike most of the other restaurants frequented. The quality doesn’t match the hype or the price IMO.

   Everything about Il Bracco was outstanding. The food was some of the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten. We had the scallops, chicken piccata, al limone pasta, meatballs, focaccia bread, tiramisu, & the lemon tart. Everything was full of flavor and so fresh. The wait staff was impeccable. I was pleased that they all had their hair up. It was an extremely enjoyable evening.

   It was our first time at this happening neighborhood hangout. We never bothered because it’s always VERY full. But now I get what all the buzz is about. The food was exquisite, service was impeccable, and the place was hoppin’. Quite a fun spot on a Friday night if you can get in. Patio looked incredible at sunset, and makes for a picturesque backdrop to make a toast to good food and good friends. If the temp is below 80 this place is hard to beat.

   Shared Caesar salad, no croutons but toasted bread crumbs on salad. Pasta bolognese and the lemon shrimp linguine were great. Would order both of these entrees again, probably getting them to go. The restaurant was crowded and very very noisy.

   My service score is for the hostess. She would not seat me until my friend was also there. That was not true for a party of 3 before me, they were seated without their entire party. My feedback is two fold, be consistent, treat all parties the same, Second, if for some reason my friend suddenly could not come, I was going to sit to eat whether my she arrived or not. Would you not seat me as a party of 1?

   We had lunch at Il Bracco on Easter Sunday. We split The Plaza salad and the Pasta al limone. Also, I had a Bracco cocktail which is my favorite! Everything was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. The vibe was upbeat and festive with a warm neighborhood feel. We love Il Bracco. It's a University Park treasure.

    Zach who was our server was MAGNIFICENT! Undoubtedly some of the best service and hospitality we have received anywhere in a long time. Food was terrific as usual but trust me, it is all about the service and hospitality and Zach was a true professional. Please recognize him at your next pre-shift. :)
