   Always a fantastic meal but yesterday we felt very rushed and the waitstaff took our cocktail before we were finished and cleared our appetizer plates and forks before we were finished…very odd. It happened so fast we could barely see the who did it… She just reached across the table and grabbed things to clear & raced off without saying a word. We get that it’s a popular restaurant and always crowded so they need to turn tables, but pretty rude to do so without asking, especially when it wasn’t even our waiter… The fried artichokes were phenomenal as always, and the salmon and cauliflower are worth fighting the noise and crowd to experience!

   We had a reservation, which we could not be late for, but then had to wait 20+ minutes to be seated.

   Despite having a 8:00pm reservation (and showing up at 7:40pm), we weren’t seated until 8:40pm because they overbooked the restaurant. They comped an appetizer and one drink for each of us, which was very kind, however I would have rather had the time vs the free app/drinks.

   To start we love the food, it’s always top notch! What we did not love last night was having a reservation for 7:45 and then being seated at 8:45. We were dining with my 80 year old grandmother and she had to stand and wait in an extremely crowded area with people waiting over an hour for their reservation. The staff at the front were absolutely lovely and patient but something needs to change. We would not come back here again after this experience. The waiting area is tiny and people were spilling into the space between tables while people were eating which ruins their experience as well! Please figure out this situation or we will not be coming back! Never had this happen to this extent anywhere else in Dallas.

   Started with the crispy artichokes. So good! The star of the show was the chefs special - ciopinno (seafood stew). Oh my goodness! It’s a $30 bowl of the most delicious soup you’ve ever tasted! Sopped every last drop with toasted focaccia! I dream about it every day! Ask for it!

   My server Sarah(with an H) was extraordinary and provided great options and recommendations for both food and beverages. I also called in to say traffic was delaying my 5:00pm reservation but was advised that my table would be waiting for me. Overall great service and experience and it is a pleasure to dine there🥰

   If you have a reservation do not expect to get your table at your reservation time. We had a 6:45 reservation and did not get our table until 7:20. No room at the bar and the entrance was crawling with people. This was not the first time either as it happens on every reservation we have had here.
