Il Baretto Wine Bar and Restaurant in London's very happening Marylebone Village is another winner from the stable of restaurateur Arjun Waney in collaboration with Mr Lotto, who brought you the stellar Roka, Zuma and La Petite Maison.
If you're looking for super Italian cuisine and would like to avoid both chain restaurants and designer price tags, Il Baretto in Blandford Street is an excellent choice.
Located between Marylebone High Street and Baker Street, Il Baretto has a smart wine bar located on the ground floor and a cavernous basement dining room that is a stylish restaurant for group parties and celebrations.
Popular with a local crowd, as well as with tourists and shoppers from Bond Street, this restaurant serves up authentic Italian recipes and we love the tagliolini with lobster and the Maccheroni with black truffle. Pizzas and dishes from the robata grill are winners too.

Food was utterly delicious. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere in the restaurant was great. We had a really lovely evening. Only thing I would say is that the portions were are on the small side and it was very expensive.

They take reservations till 21:00. As soon as you sot down they press you to choose as kitchen closes at 21:30 As soon as 1st course arrives press to receive the main course. At 11:00 ask you to leave Bottom line: you pay the same than before; the food is not as good and the service is appalling .

We apologise that you feel this way, this is not our aim at Il Baretto. Yes, we do take bookings at 9pm however, during the week we have different kitchen closing times to the weekend. You were informed and agreed it this was fine. We prompted you to order as it was approaching closing time and we gave you time to enjoy your experience. Unfortunately our venue has a limited license as it's a residential area. I understand your frustration expecting more time but we have to respect our license.

Fantastic food service so so felt bit rushed and they cleared drinks before they were finished and also took a while to attend us once we sat down but overall food is amazing little pricey for Italian in marleybone but had great time

It’s a great restaurant where you can get most of Italian classics of pretty good quality. Not comparable to the overexpensive Mayfair or Knightsbridge restaurants, but everything is pretty good from pasta to starters, mains and even pizzas. One of my faves!
