   The food at Idylwood Grill never disappoints. The soups are always delicious, the seafood linguine is the best in Northern Virginia, and my husband loved his lamb with risotto. Highly recommend!

   Excellent service and even better food. Saturday night included free musical entertainment. Ordered the shrimp ajo and calamari - both excellent appetizers that we soaked the steaming hot complimentary bread with. My wife ordered the branzino (Mediterranean Sea Bass), which was moist with crispy skin, accompanying with equally delectable veggies. I had the lamb shank with risotto - fall of the bone and melt in your mouth, and the risotto had perfectly cooked squash and zucchini. Desert was German Chocolate cake - the best we ever had and my wife is a professional baker. Full of pecans and roasted coconut with deep caramel and fudge notes. Highly reccomend for any casual or semi-formal date night. Family / neighborhood vibes.

   This is a go to place for me and has been for years. In the last few years there have been some positive changes, including more and varied menu options. This establishment has done a good job with social media and the clientele has become younger and more diverse. Never had a bad meal here.

   The only thing that stood in the way of five stars for our experience here was a forgetful server. Maybe on a different night there would be more staff. He seemed to have his hands full.  I would give my highest rating for the food. I got the mushroom ravioli and my date got the flounder français. Both dishes were fabulous and a great value. I will certainly go again, forgetful server or not.

   As always, the food and service are excellent. They are my go-to Italian restaurant. They have a lot of seafood options which my spouse appreciates. The atmosphere is great for quiet conversations.

   Hadn't visited this restaurant in 5+ years. But it was very enjoyable, perhaps better than I remembered. Great menu variety

    A limited menu with well prepared options. Good service. A bit on the noisy side, not helped by a keyboardist on a Saturday night. A bit rushed; I felt the staff was looking to flip the table.
