Icebox Cafe Hallandale Beach opened in 2020, bringing art, performance, and an exciting new restaurant to the heart of the arts and entertainment district. This vibrant, multifunctional space has a lot to offer.

Depending on your mood, or the Hallandale Beach weather, unwind outdoors in our lush greenhouse or on the sleek and modern plaza. If you prefer indoors, relax over a meal in our main dining room. Our menu of American classics – comfort food with a dash of international flavor – covers brunch every day from 10 to 4.

In our main space, installations from local artists line the walls. In the greenhouse, a tropical garden steals the show. It’s a lovely space for a party or corporate event and combines with other areas for large gatherings.

Icebox Cafe is my go to place for a special occasion, brunch on the weekends, or when guests come in from out of town. The food, service, and ambience are great. They never disappoint!

Cute place. Service was perfect! We ordered an omelette, salmon burger, and a bloody Mary. The bloody Mary was fantastic. I enjoyed the omelette. My husband said the salmon burger was so, so. It was a little fishy and did not have very much flavor.

We found a hair in our food. Our appetizers and main meals made it to the table before our sangria. Manager was very rude and I do not plan on returning.

Took about 30 minutes for our drink order (table of 4). No explanation and they were not busy. Bartender came over to hand us two drinks and was rude with attitude. Our food came out before the drinks. Food was very good. Atmosphere was great. Wanted to give this place a higher rating but the service left a lot to de desired. Can’t imagine what would happen when it’s busy. Spoke to the manager who was apologizing and did his best to make it right. Hesitant about going back to be honest.

Great service! Nice, fast and attentive personnel. The food was delicious and cooked to the right temperature. Clean. Excellent and relaxing ambiance. We had a great time!
