We are offering a tasting menu consisting of 12 courses and made with the freshest ingredients from day to day.

Our cuisine is based on the interpretation of the Mayan culture, starting from something real; using modernity and tradition as tools, as well as the unique ingredients that we have in the region.

Giving a sensation of a Yucatan up to date both in flavor, space and land. A kitchen whose main concept is dynamism and interaction without barriers, without rules, where they frequently worked with producers from the peninsula.

    What a fabulous experience this was. Chef Roberto Solis is at the top of his game. It’s very different flavors than what I am use to and I loved everything about this “new Yucatán cuisine” that Chef Solis is famous for. Much to my surprise, I even loved the Foie gras wrapped in chaya, chicken broth, brown butter and lime. This was my introduction to Yucatan food and I had the most wonderful food experience throughout the entire meal. I will definitely be back for Round 2! I’m pretty impressed by the recommendation that some of SMA’s chefs and restaurant owners gave me. Many told me that if I got to choose one restaurant in Merida this would be it! Everything I ate here was 5 star. And the service was wonderful too.

    If you are looking for a splurge for a special occasion I would highly, highly recommend Huniik. I think people who love food and love cooking will appreciate this experience the most. They encourage you to go check out what the chefs are doing and see how each dish is made, something I’ve always wanted to do! I can’t even describe it, it was so special and each course was exciting. The staff was kind and knowledgeable about Mayan gastronomy and culture. Come hungry, we got 12 courses with the wine pairing - about $200usd per person. The wine was also great, we got to try some very interesting mexican wines! 11/10 night ♥️

    It was an experience of a lifetime. It is a very well thought out food experience that brings you Yucatán right to your table. From the minute you sit down the restaurant is made to feel like you are inside a cenote. The 10 course meal so well thought out are made to bring the important aspects of region. The exposed kitchen is made to invite their guest right into the kitchen, to watch, ask questions and interact as if it were your own kitchen. To top it off Chef Roberto Solis himself was present to ensure all went as planned. Bravo!

    Ibamos con la idea de comer en el restaurante de tacos omakase. Llamó la recepcionista de nuestro hotel para hacer la reserva porque no teniamos numero de telefono de mexico y nos ofrecieron un menú degustación que pensabamos que era en el restaurante de tacos. No pudimos informarnos bien ya que su pagina web no funciona o directamente creo que no tienen. El restaurante de tacos omakase no está anunciado en google maps y da lugar a confusión… la comida estaba rica pero el precio es excesivo teniendo en cuenta que no es un restaurante de estrella michelin. El vino por copas que nos ofrecieron no nos gustó nada, era vino mexicano y fue lo peor de la cena. El precio de las copas de vino estaba totalmente fuera de lugar. La comida si que estaba rica y la disfrutamos pero si que crean confusión con los dos tipos de restaurantes. La barra de tacos omakase tenia muy buena pinta y nos quedamos sin probarlos. No entiendo como puede ser que no tengan pagina web donde poder informarte siendo uno de los 100 mejores restaurantes del mundo.
