   Our experience at Hummus was wonderful. The food was delicious and very authentic. Our server was great. We enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return.

   Fabulous meal! We shared several dishes for lunch and all were authentic and delicious. Can’t wait to return for dinner next tine!

   We were thrilled to find this jewel in downtown Charleston. Having had Lebanese food many times before, we feel confident in saying this is one of the best Lebanese restaurants we have found! The host/server, Madelyn, was so personable and knowledgeable. She made us feel like FAMILY. The chef, Bashir, hand prepared fresh food with quality, authentic Lebanese spices. The recipes were passed down through generations in his family. We were so delighted with our experience, we have already booked another dinner. I highly recommend the hummus, falafel, and kafta. Although, everything on the menu was exceptional!

   Each bite was a masterpiece in its own right. Cumin, allspice, sumac, and other savory flavors harmonized creating a most memorable dining experience. The owners were so welcoming and happily recommended their favorite food and wines to pair each with. The cabernet from Ksara was exquisite! Bold and rich! The baklava was simply the best i have ever tasted.

   Flavorful, savory food authentic Lebanese recipes. Wine from Lebanon and a fantastic atmosphere. Chef Bashir truly shares his love and pride of Lebanon in each dish. He takes the time to speak to almost every table when he has time. This personal touch makes you feel like you are apart of the family.

   I can definitely say that the experience was the best I’ve ever had! I finally got to eat the real Lebanese food with all the right spices and presentation. Madelyn’s recommendations and service was outstanding. We even got to meet the chef and was happy to know that he is Lebanese too. Food was amazingly delicious, everything was cooked at the right temperature and presented in a traditional way as well. Loved that all the wine are imported from lebanon to complete our experience. I will definitely be back as a regular.

   The best Lebanese food in Charleston and it’s not even close. Everything tasted authentic and amazing. Owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to go back.

    Not sure food was cooked onsite the meat clearly was cooked at least the day before Slow expensive music too loud it a shame
