   My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Hudson House. It was our first time dining there and we were both thoroughly impressed with all of our food dishes. The quality, flavor and presentation were all excellent. We will dine with them again soon!

   My last 2 experiences esp the service has been disappointing. And the food is just ok. I probably won’t be back. The gentleman behind to me ordered something that looked delicious and when I asked if I could have the same thing the wait staff said it looked like the snapper w/broccoli. It wasn’t. And then she was annoyed with me because she knew it wasn’t the same and then proceeded to ask me if I wanted something else. I said “what he had” and she ignored it vs just asking the other wait staff what it was if she didn’t know. The time before this a friend asked the waiter for sautéed/caramelized onions on her burger (which she gets all the time) and he said “we don’t have that.” So my fish was just ok but overcooked. I do like their salads but not enough to go back. I’ll stick to R&D, Hillstone or Bobby’s.

   Great waitress. Had a Strawberry Spritz and savory chicken Parmesan followed by a delectable chocolate silk pie . Will definitely come back.

   The popcorn chicken is amazing. The lobster mac may be the best you’ll ever have. I really enjoyed the stone fruit martini as well.

    Good experience tonight! Food was really good and fresh and the portions very generous. Service was very courteous but just a little slow and details were missed. Will be back though!!
