Had an amazing experience at the House Without A Key, right on the ocean! The atmosphere were incredible—nothing beats dining with the sound of the waves and live Hawaiian music in the background. The food was just as impressive. We tried the chicken breast and mahi mahi and both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The ambiance was relaxed but still stylish, perfect for a sunset dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive, making it a perfect spot for a laid-back but memorable meal. Can’t wait to return!

I booked this some time ago. For a 5 star facility that I walked up to and confirmed the day prior only to loose my reservation the actual day of the lunch was a bit disappointing Then I was told to stand in the corner and wait until my table was ready . Never experienced that before. Our waiter was excellent but the food was average.

The best things about this restaurant are the view and the service. That said, the poke was overly salted and they no longer make their signature cocktail, the Halekulani Sunset. When asked about this last year (and they made it for us), we were told the bartender didn’t enjoy the hassle of making drinks requiring the use of the blender. This year, we were told they had no access to guava concentrate which is utter nonsense given it’s readily available here in HI. So, this was/will be our last time dining/staying at this hotel after visiting the place annually for 7+ years and having stayed at the hotel twice in the last 3 years.

Had high expectations but food was underwhelming for the price. Location was good for sunset. Made a reservation months out but were sat on outskirts by the pool and could barely hear the musicians over bar noise.

    サービス料がやや高く感じる。雰囲気、ロケーションは最高。 バンドが変わっていた。親子のバンドの父親の歌声がとても良かったのだが。少し残念。

We weren’t seated until 15 mins after our reservation time. I got the prosciutto pizza, which was okay, and my husband got the steak. He ordered it medium rare and it arrived medium well. Because it rained before our reservation, the entertainment was indoors and hard for us to see because we were on the patio. View was unbeatable though.
