Hinata is a Sushi Omakase restaurant located in San Francisco's Van Ness district. We use quality ingredients along with authentic techniques to bring the most surprising and innovative Omakase experience to our guest.

We offer a prix fixe sushi menu starting at $98. Our menu will change daily, depending on the season and what is available from the Toyosu Market in Japan. Our full course meal will include multiple courses: 18 pieces of nigiri sushi, 3 refreshing bites, miso soup, and house-made dessert.

Please note:
- We only offer a set Omakase tasting menu (each reserved seat MUST order the Omakase)
- We can not accommodate Vegetarians/Vegans.
- We require 24 hour notice for any allergies and dietary restriction modifications
- We are unable to modify the menu on the same day of the reservation
- Please review the CANCELATION/NO-SHOW policy before booking

We will happily accommodate most dietary restrictions with advance notice, but we do not have vegetarian or vegan options. Visit www.hinata.com. Please be advised that we are unable to accept cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours. The price of the menu does not include the service charge, sales tax, and the SF mandate. Hinata Sushi exceeded our expectations! Everything about our experience was top notch. The sushi was exceptional and each bite left a lasting affect. Our sushi chef Gavin elevated our visit and the music and ambiance was the icing on the cake. 90’s and 2000’s R&B + hip hop…. YES PLEASE! How many times can you say you’re eating the best sushi of your life while listening to your favorite music genre? Am I right? I can’t wait to visit Hinata again!

Absolutely LOVE this place! The sushi is incredible, the chefs are so nice, and it is so affordable! I highly recommend! Perfect for a group, business dinner, date night, or night out with a friend! I recommended the counter seating if no more than 4 people

Absolutely superb! Celebrated my birthday with friends but it’s definitely the spot to visit for all occasions! If you’re looking for delicious food with great service in a wonderful setting, you gotta try Hinata!

My first omakase!! They were so welcoming and accommodating with dietary needs! My boyfriend and I went to celebrate Valentine’s Day and a year of us. Perfect place to spend a night for a special occasion. The chefs were perfectionists! The fish was so fresh and service was amazing! The experience was 10/10.
