    We ate quite late on Sunday afternoon having visited based on their excellent ratings. Staff were young and efficient and my guests enjoyed the chicken roast dinner. Food looked amazing when it came out but my beef was very thick and overdone to the point it tasted bland and was chewy - We did however eat at 4.15 pm which may have explained why. I've had much better roasts at much cheaper places but then I've had much worse experiences also. Overall it was ok.

    A beautifully decorated pub. First visit won't be the last. The staff were very friendly and the menu was varied offering a really good selection and well priced. The food was delicious and very promptly served, always a bonus when you have your impatient Mum with you!

    Lovely warm atmosphere and our waitress Ellie was just lovely. Really friendly and attentive. The food was great - really hot, and such a great choice of many different options as well as the classics. Just loved my birthday treat.
