   Maybe it’s just me, but spending $40 on 4 small scallops, $16 on each cocktail, and nearly $5 per oyster is outrageous. We were a group of 4, we all got 1 drink, a dozen oysters to share, 2 starters and 3 entrees. Our bill was around $400 after tip, which would have been more acceptable if the service was up to par. Server barely came to our table which at this point I’m grateful for because they were a little too rude and quippy for my taste. Oysters are my favorite food in the world which is what drew us to this location. They were…okay. I never thought I’d dislike a “mushroom” flavored oyster, but trying just one turned me off to oysters for the rest of the night. Overall, I don’t think I will be back.

   We were on the enclosed back patio, which was so great because it was much quieter than the interior of the restaurant! A great night.

   Overall a good experience and fantastic service. We were very disappointed that during happy hour you can order the fish and chips at a table. We love the happy hour menu for week nights/non-celebration meals and the fish and chips is really what makes it stand out. We really don’t understand why it’s only available if you are sitting at the bar during HH. Major bummer and the only negative of the evening. Oysters were great!

   The experience exceeded our expectations. Chef Julia has a superb palate that definitely doesn’t disappoint with her dishes. This was our first time going and definitely won’t be the last.

   In honor of restaurant week we ate the porch menu today which was a special menu. We added a couple dozen oysters to the front side. Wonderful experience. The Host stand was awesome in letting us change from 2 to 4 guests and then to 5 the night before. We all loved it.
