   Held an annual holiday party here tonight and had a group of 8 including several who were newbies to Vietnamese cuisine. The food was excellent. Everyone was pleased with their selections. The waitress was quite knowledgeable and aided guests to selections that would appeal to them.

   Food and drinks were excellent! But you better wear a winter coat and gloves because the place was absolutely freezing if you get seated near the front windows. There was a lack of heat in the place as I looked around everyone was wearing their coats. The waiter wasn’t the best never asked if we wanted another drink and after dinner bought us the check without even asking if we wanted dessert or an after dinner drink. Wait staff need improvement.

   To start our dinner was very good..But from the time we walked in the service and staff were not. We came at 6pm with a reservation New Year's Eve. Restaurant not busy yet. No one greeted us, and when we gave our name the first thing a young man said to me was you only have 1 hour for your reservation. I was like excuse me, 1 hour, he says oh ok you have 1 1/2 hour for the 6 of us. Now this is fine, but this should of been said when we made the reservation. So we were sat. Menu's were on your phone only we were told. My husband and I didn't have our phones so I asked for menu's. We were given dirty old menu's and told that the prices are probably not the same and they won't have all the stuff on that menu. When we went to order drinks we were told 4 times after ordering they didn't have the beers my friend asked for, even though they were on the scan menu. The waitress really had no idea what they had. She actually told him to go to the bar and ask what they did have. When our drinks arrived they were put down at the end of the table and the server walked away. Our dinners were good. When the check came we of coursed looked it over. With 6 people the tip was added in. Not sure if there menu stated that, but we were fine with 20% added in. But the server added a 25% tip that was based on our total, tax and the amount if you paid with a credit card which was an extra $12. (we were planning to pay cash) When we questioned it, her answer was you ordered a lot of drinks, so I made the tip larger, because she had to run around were her words. Well if she knew what drinks were offered that night she wouldn't have been running back and forth to the bar. We would not go back again due to the bad service!

   Love this place because the food is outstanding, but went on NYE for a 5:45 reservation and we were still finishing our food at 6:45 when the waitress began persistently asking us if we wanted our check. Typically a rez is 90 minutes, but we felt very rushed. Probably wasn’t her fault as I imagine her manager was trying to turn over tables rapidly, but it was uncomfortable to say the least. First time that has happened there though and the food and atmosphere still worth it. Would just be nice to be offered desert before being asked for check.

    Hen is a beautiful restaurant with a very large menu to choose from. Our server was friendly and the food is great. Plenty of choices for everyone to enjoy. Large free parking outside.
