This was our second time to Hello and I was nervous that it may not live up to the expectations set by our previous visit. I needn’t have worried, I love this hidden gem. I’m not a pasta person however I can totally get behind the beautiful fresh creamy pasta dishes I’ve had here, sooooo good. My husband maintains that the Angus burger here is the best he’s had is New Zealand. The atmosphere is lovely in the evening and feels hidden away from downtown Auckland, perfect for date night. Prices a reasonable for the quality of food and location. We will be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

Great food, lovely staff and amazing value for money with the current lunch deal. Only criticism would be a bit more description on their menu - I had the steak sandwich which came on cheesy toasted ciabatta. That wasn't on the description and it was amazing... even more of a selling point to mention it. As a pregnant woman it's also difficult to find food choices (lots of restrictions) so the only other thing I'd add is flexibility to swap things out ie I asked for steak well done and was told initially it was just how it came but I explained I had to have it well cooked for health reasons and that was ok. Ideally you should just accommodate that kind of request straight away no questions. All in all great though and would definitely go again.

This is the second time I have dined here and it will not be the last. A nice mid range restaurant bar in the middle of the AK CBD. A tasteful neutral fit out, very nice and efficient staff and the food has been consistently good. Mark D, Auckland

The food was great! Everything was so delicious. The only opportunity was the noise coming from the opening party of the place next to it.
